Description
HISTORY Club Nautico Burriana, is a private non-profit, established under the Law 4/1993 of the Valencia Generalitat Sport Valencia, the Club and sports federations. Founded in 1972, a year in which some eminent fishing and water sports enthusiasts decided to take the necessary measures to obtain the concession that would allow them to have the ground necessary to locate their long-awaited Club. The Club began to operate with a floating dock, with the ability to moor eighty boats, which was soon overwhelmed by the large amount of mooring requests. The same has been extended giving capacity for one hundred and twenty moorings. And due to the increase of partners and boats, it was necessary to install four more pontoons, one of which was repaired, currently with 400 berths. Among the many fishing competitions organized by the Club, stands out in September 1982 for preselectivo the II World Fishing Championship, after having qualified the Club team formed by the partners José Luis Muñoz Peirats, Antonio Segarra Giner and Francisco Almela Mingarro, present on behalf of the Spain at the aforementioned Tenerife Championship in October 1982 and winner of the specialty World Champion title.
