Description
The Marina de València opens to the city, the Mediterranean and the world. It opens its doors to culture, creativity, innovation, training and entrepreneurship and consolidates itself as an epicenter of sailing and tourism. Between all and all, we are building the future of Valencia. If you also look at the horizon, here you will find your space, with that desire we work from Consorci València 2007, the agency that manages La Marina. Our mission is to get you back to the sea. Because the history of the Navy is our story. Its origin is that of a small pier, probably before the conquest of Jaume I, who grew up in the company of the city. Today we see a modernist architectural heritage, mirroring the golden age of an exporting València. The celebration of the 32nd America's Cup (2007) placed the Navy on the nautical tourism map and promoted the transformation of the northern area. To promote the candidacy of Valencia as a venue for the competition and to carry out the necessary actions, the Central Government, the Generalitat Valenciana and the Municipality created the Valencia 2007 Consortium. Today we are heading towards new challenges: the public appropriation of this public space , its productive activation and its agile, sustainable and efficient management. Much more than a marina ... With more than a million square meters, Valencia Marina is the largest port in Europe, one of the most modern in the Mediterranean and a dynamic space where you can enjoy boating, culture, creativity , gastronomy and sport.
