Description
Marinas in Sardinia: La Caletta di Siniscola
The port is protected by two main docks
- A 650-metre outer breakwater totally equipped with quay
- A 160-metre inner breakwater inclusing a small dock for fishing boats.
Areas reserved for yachting
The port facility of La Caletta represents the only solution available for yachting in this specific side of Sardinia.
Boats are allowed to moor at the quays managed by the municipal Service Center .
The yacht club "La Caletta" manages six piers located east of the main dock (four of which are mobile and floating) over a basin of over 14,000 square metres, where 192 berths are equipped with night illumination, mooring assistance, water and electric charging columns.
The municipalities of Posada and Siniscola manage all the other quays located west of the main dock (on the left of the port mouth) , in addition to the outer breakwater.
The port is well-sheltered and easily recognizable thanks to St.John's Tower, located north of the entrance.
The yacht club partners also benefit from a specific area for maintenance interventions and repairs.
In 2013, a small shipyard equipped with a travel lift was inaugurated
