Description
Situated inside the port of Mazara del Vallo, in western Sicily, the tourist port of Adina is a port facility consisting of a 200-metre floating jetty managed by Associazione Diportisti Nautici Mazarese, located on the "Buon Vento" dock.
Sea bottoms are muddy and with a depth which ranges from 1 to 3.5 metres.
The port can host 125 boats up to 25 metres in length.
When entering the port, yachtsmen are required to sail at low speed, keep a distance of at least 100 metres from the temporary signal of the western dock in addition to pay attention to low sea bottoms in the area between the statue located at the mouth and the Coast Guard's office.
All berths are equipped with water and eletric charging columns.
Services include a filling station, a slipway, a mobile crane (up to 30 tons), open-air and covered boat storage areas, mechanical and electric repairs, sail repairs, hull repairs, video surveillance, weather forecast, toilets and showers. In the surroundings, visitors can easily find many supermarkets, a car park and a pay phone.
Near the port raises the anchorage of Capo Feto, where yachtsmen can easily drop the anchor keeping a 400-metre distance from the beach.
Another safe anchorage for small boats is Cala Spaghetti, well-sheltered from northern winds. Cala Spaghetti is situated about 2 miles from the port, at the end of Tonnarella beach. When approaching the anchorage, yachtsmen are required to pay attention to a shoal on the West and a submerged rock on the East, about 200 metres from the shore.
